Learn Spanish in Colombia through a Wide Range of Courses

Those who learn Spanish in Colombia can look forward to seeing the most magnificent tropical rain forests, beaches, snow-capped mountains and cities of the Spanish colonial era. Colombia has a lot to offer and is considered to be one of the most underrated destinations in South America. Bogota, the capital of Colombia, is located in the center of the country, at an altitude of 2,600 Meters (8,600 Feet). The narcotics trade and guerilla warfare are still a major problem, though the worst affected areas are far from the major cities and tourist centers. Tourists who visit Colombia can expect relatively good security, if they stick to the main tourist areas. If you plan to take a Spanish immersion course there, be sure to take all means necessary to ensure your own safety.
